Fireworks can perform a find and replace in any of five locations. Choose an option from the Search pop-up menu to select the range of content you want to find and replace:

Search Selection finds and replaces elements only among the currently selected objects and text. |

Search Frame finds and replaces elements only within the current frame. |
|
Search Document finds and replaces elements in the active document. |

Search Project Log finds and replaces elements in files listed in the Project Log. For more information about the Project Log, see Managing searches with the Project Log. |

Search Files finds and replaces elements across multiple files. If you choose Search Files, navigate to a file you want to search, and then click Add to add that file to the find and replace list; click Add All to add all files in the current folder to the find and replace list. |
